Membership:
The Grand Marais Business Council is open to all businesses and business persons conducting business in the Grand Marais area. Membership dues must be current to vote.
Organization:
The Grand Marais Business Council has filed with the State of Minnesota as an IRC 501(c)(6). This allows us to collect dues, solicit funding for projects and lobby public officials.
Dues:
Dues is $25/year. As an IRC 501(c)(6) we are a non-profit and dues may be deductible as a business expense.
Dues will be spent on education and lobbying efforts, advertising, printing costs, postage, web site development & maintenance, surveys & studies, legal fees, etc. All reasonable efforts will be made to minimize expenses.
